Style Sheets in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013

Microsoft Dynamics NAV® 2013 is the latest release of the well-known and established ERP solution for all kinds of businesses of whatever size. As you would expect, the package offers rich functionality within an easy to use interface.

To help you easily extract data from the database in an easy to use format, the package includes a number of style sheets which allow you to convert data into a more user-friendly format. For example, a list of customer details can be exported to a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet or a sales order can be exported to a Microsoft Word® document for use as an invoice or a mailshot can be sent to a list of potential customers.

Our Dynamics Document Receiving Add-on for Microsoft Dynamics® NAV is being extended to include a button in Microsoft Office® Outlook.

An email in Outlook can be selected and the user can press the 'Send to Dynamics NAV button'.  This will search the Dynamics NAV contacts database for any contacts with a matching email address to the email sender, take the email contents and any attachments and present them to Dynamics NAV for the creation or update of various Dynamics NAV documents (e.g. Sales Orders, Purchase Invoices, Service Orders, Sales Quotes etc.).  Once created, the email details and attachments can be viewed against the document using the Document Receiving functionality. Additional details and attachments can be added to the document from further emails using the same functionality.
